In 2010, in the city of the Lion, a brand new Universal Studios opens.

A-ha, this is good news to me of course. Now I do not need to fly thousand of miles away in order to experience this. Just 45 mins away by air, I get to bring my son to relive some of his favourite movies and meet the character in person.
The once sleepy Sentosa Island is now full of buzz. Resort World has transformed part of the getaway island into a full bloom entertainment little town, complete with casino, retail outlets and of course the Universal Studios.

Of course in comparison to the one in US, this Universal Studios is a mini one. But still it doesn't mean that it is inferior in comparison. I mean, if you only got one day to spend in this theme park, then I think that it is more than sufficient. 
Although small in size, they managed to squeeze 7 different themes in it.
On top of that, there is a beautiful lake right in the centre of the theme park. So it doesn't make you feel as if it is very cramp and small.
Open from 10am - 7pm daily, there is not much time to waste, so let's go. A piece of advice though, as it is a small park, they restrict the number of tickets sold daily. So if you plan to go during peak time like school holiday, do make sure you purchase the ticket in advance.Location : Singapore
